Welcome to the Lonoke County Assessors Office

Our goal is to equitably and accurately assess all real estate, personal property and business personal property in Lonoke County in a professional and courteous manner that assures public confidence and funding for public services.

As your Assessor, I will discharge my duties with fairness and integrity while upholding the laws of the State of Arkansas. This office strives to be a source of accurate and timely property information for local government, schools, and the community.

Personal Property includes: Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, ATV's, Campers, Boats, Motors, Trailers, Jet Ski's, Aircraft.

If you own a business, you are required to assess and list all Furniture, Fixtures, and Inventory that is used for your business. For any questions, please call us at 501-676-6938.

REAPPRAISALS

Lonoke County uses TASC (Total Assessment Solutions Corporation) for our appraisals. Beginning in January of 2027, Lonoke County will start our new reappraisal cycle. By law, all counties in Arkansas must conduct a countywide reappraisal every 4 years.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

May 31st: Last day to assess without a penalty

3rd Monday in August: Last day to appeal for the current year

October 15th: Last day to pay taxes without penalty

October 15th: Last day to file for the Homestead Credit

DISABLED VETERANS

If you are a 100% Disabled Veteran, first of all, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. You will still need to assess each year and list all of your personal property with the Assessor, but the Collector will exempt your taxes as long as your award letter is on file at the Collectors office.

You will not be eligible for the Homestead Credit, or any freeze, but you will be tax exempt as well from your primary place of residence.

HOMESTEAD CREDIT

*If you own your home or purchasing it on a contract, and this is your primary place of residence, you may be eligible for up to a $675 Homestead Credit on your real estate taxes.

*If you are not receiving your Homestead, please call our office and we will send you an application, but again, it must be your primary place of residence. Once it is applied, you will not have to do anything else unless there is a change in ownership. All Homesteads must be applied for by October 15th.

DISABLED OR OVER THE AGE OF 65

If you are over the age of 65, please bring in a copy of your Drivers License and we will get a "Freeze" applied to your primary residence. You must have the Homestead in order to get the freeze. This will put a freeze on yoru tax bill even though the value may go up. This goes into effect the year after you turn 65.

If you are disabled, this same freeze can apply. We will need a copy of your disability papers from the Social Security Administration.
